Sharon Zapata – Massage Therapist

Years in Practice: 3
Education: Cortiva Institute Chicago School of Massage Therapy, Columbia College Chicago
Sharon works on our patients’ soft tissue (i.e. muscle and fascia). By implementing a variety of clinical massage techniques, such as myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and neuromuscular techniques, she can help patients improve posture, increase range of motion, and reduce pain. She acknowledges that every body is a unique case and enjoys customizing her treatment plan to fit the needs of each individual patient. She became interested in chiropractic care as a result of her history of back pain due to an injury. Chiropractic care helped her regain her ability to function and eliminated her pain. In her spare time, Sharon enjoys word games and puzzles, cooking, history, and movies.
